Terms of Service

Last updated July 19, 2026

These terms apply when you use CurbDay. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.

What CurbDay does — and what it can't promise

CurbDay shows waste collection schedules for supported municipalities and can remind you before collection day.

The schedule information comes from municipalities and their contractors, and we cannot guarantee it is accurate, complete or current. Cities change routes, declare holiday shifts, and cancel collection for weather. Reminders depend on email and push delivery, which can be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control.

Treat CurbDay as a convenience, not as the authoritative source. For anything that matters, check with your municipality. We are not responsible for a missed collection.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure — you are responsible for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and don't use CurbDay to break the law, to disrupt the service, or to scrape or resell our data or the municipal data we surface.

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service. You can close your account at any time.

Free and Premium

CurbDay has a free tier. Premium costs $3 CAD per month or $30 CAD per year and unlocks the paid features described on our home page.

If we change prices we will tell existing subscribers by email before the change takes effect.

Availability

We aim to keep CurbDay running but we don't promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription.

Liability

CurbDay is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will notify you by email of material changes. Continuing to use CurbDay after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
